Biography

I have been licensed since 1977 and held the calls: WD4BDE, K7JEE and now AJ0IM, after upgrading to Extra in 2013. I retired from the City of Cheyenne Wyoming in December 2014 and since retiring my wife and I split our time between our homes in Colorado and Florida.

I enjoy the HF bands and will participate in the occasional contest, but really like to work DX and to just chat!

We are a 3 generation ham family - my son Scott is an extra class operator with the call AD0EO and my grandson Scott James is a tech with the call KD0WBB.

My wife and I travel quite a bit, especially to Greece where I have family, and I have operated from both Rhodes and Athens and plan to do so again in the near future.

Best 73 and Good DX,

Jim
AJ0IM

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
