Biography

Aloha,

Mahalo for visiting my page. I was first licensed in 1979. My previous calls have been KA7DJL (novice, tech), N7BME (general, advance) and AA7LE (extra). I currently live in a Condo in Waikoloa, Hawaii with my wife. We cannot have any visible antennas, so my home antenna is a multi-band dipole inside our small condo. Rig here is an Icom 7610, which I LOVE. However, so I don't interfere with my neighbors, I am usually only running about 35 watts.

Due to my limited antenna and power limitations I have been drawn to CW mode. CW was a requirement when I was licensed. I did barely pass my 20 wpm Extra class exam, however I took about 10 years or more off from Amateur Radio. I have started back at square one re-learning CW and enjoying every minute.

I regularly upload my logs to QRZ, LoTW and eQSL

73's, Bary
