Biography

I'm a student at Humboldt State University. I enjoy hilltopping remotely and trying to catch DX.

I hate the idea of limiting myself to hand held operations of 2m FM...

I try and QSL 100% and should be caught up shortly. If you haven't received a paper QSL, look on eQSL and see if I have even logged you... I don't QSL FM 2m/440cm contacts, unless they are considered DX.

Equipment

Home QTH: Kenwood TS-480HX, Sandpiper MV10 multi-band vertical (6-160m), powered via battery bank.

Portable opperations: Icom 7000, Shakespeare 5930 antenna used with an Icom AH-4 tuner (6-80m). For 160m I use a mono bander Sandpiper V27.5 vertical. I have several different beams for VHF/UHF work. I have various antennas arrangements so it might vary from site to, where I am at and what I am trying to accomplish.
