Biography

Born in Perth, Western Australia.

I was first licensed as a novice VK6NEQ. I quickly obtained a full call license VK6PS which is still current. I have held this license for nearly 49 years.

Becoming a US Citizen in 2010 I lost my reciprocity rights to operate VK6PS in a portable W4 capacity here in the USA.

My electronics background, coupled with Amateur Radio has provided me with extensive experience in this field.

This year (2016), I decided to test for my American Amateur Radio License and sat for the Technician and General Licenses obtaining (KM4WCN). Two weeks later I sat for the Extra Class and applied for my Vanity Callsign which now stands as AC4PS.

All Cash OR All Credit 4 Power Supply!! Either way sounds good to me! LOL!

Further, this year (2016), I successfully tested to become a VE (Voluntary Examiner) by the ARRL including my acceptance as an ARRL Registered Licensed Instructor and I am looking forward to assisting as many people as possible to gaining their Amateur Radio Licenses.

73s for now.
