Hello Operators!

Welcome to the QRZ Homepage of: AB6EW.

Thanks for looking up my call sign. I’m located Northern California. My name is Mike. I received my novice ticket in the spring of 1986.

I enjoy working worldwide DX using digital communictions providing keyboard to keyboard messaging with other fellow Operators, using SSTV, FLDigi, Winlink to JS8 Call. I still do enjoy the excitement of voice QSO.

Equipment

My Ham Shack consists of a Yaesu FT-891, SignalLink, MFJ-941D Manual Antenna Tuner.

The antenna is the Modular Portable Antenna System 2.0 made by Chameleon Antenna, it is configured as a End-Fed Inverted “V” conisisting of a 73 foot wire mounted onto a 16 foot Painter's Pole with 27 feet on each side for the ends of the antenna.
