Biography

First introduced to amateur radio by my uncle AB4KH. With his help and encouragement, I built a Heathkit rig and was off and running on 15, 20, 40, and 80 meters using dipoles strung up in the back yard. I really enjoyed CW and still do. Amateur radio developed an interest in me for radio electronics. I went to school for electronics and quickly began work at Motorola installing and repairing SMR and trunked radio systems. At one time I was also employed by one of the nation's largest paging carriers, a wireless cellular provider, and today work for one of the largest regional cellular/PCS service providers in the United States. Because of amateur radio, I was also able to acquire my commercial telephony license with RADAR endorsement.

I love the hobby and and am active on several bands, both phone and CW. Looking forward to connecting with you.

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
