Biography

First Novice call Wn2FQO from 1962. Retired from US Air Force after 26 years of Service.
I was an electrician the first 10 years and a Biomedical Equipment Maintenance Specialist
the last 16 years. I worked for 17 years as a civilian Medical Imaging Specialist. I also
Have my First Class Commercial License and currently studying for the Radar Endorsement. My
rigs consist of an Icom 706, Kenwood TS-530s and a Swan 500. Also in the process of putting
up MFJ 1799 10 Band Vertical antenna. I work some SSB but mostly CW. I have a good collection of good old vacuum tubes and lots of 811s thinking about building a home brew amplifier. Enjoy making new contacts due not have any awards not really trying to chase any.
