Biography

Hello and thanks for looking at my page. My name is Nori. I have been licensed November 2021 which I resumed amateur radio operations after 30+ years QRT at Japan.

My base station equipment consists of an Icom IC-7300 and a LOG Electrics AT-600 PROII auto antenna tuner into Chameleon Antenna Emcomm-II or an attic installed Ultimax 100 (36 ft).

I started POTA activation September 2023. For my POTA activation, I use IC-705 with AH-705 auto antenna tuner or mAT-705. I use carbon fiber fishing rod as antenna, or QRP End-fed antenna.

Other than that, Yaesu FT-5D ( for local area use and WIRE-X ) feeding into an attic installed N9TAX J-Pole antenna (2m and 70cm).

Equipment

IC-7300　for home station and IC-705 for portable (POTA) use.
