Biography

British born but after some work related globe trotting I retired to Gozo in 2008. Here I rekindled an interest in Amateur Radio dating back to teenage years in the early 1960s (SWL with HRO and some home built valve equipment) and took my licence exams in Malta in 2009. Interests are mostly HF SSB but keen to work CW and QRP.

Equipment

Yaesu FT-950 barefoot to Optibeam OBW10-5 about 15m above ground with a seaview take-off between South and North West. Yaesu MD100 microphone.
