Biography

First contact with amateur radio activity , I achieved in 1969. as a child. The following year I joined the radio club NOVA GRADIŠKA 9A2AAY ( Ex.Yu ). This time I was making simple radio constructions and with my classmates enjoyed it.
I passed the exams and get Amateur Radio Licence about 1975. My first private callsign was; YU2RHS ( Ex.Yu ).
After the astablishment of independent Republic Croatia, I got new callsign 9A2HS as "A" ham class.
My ham activities through all this time was not in continuity, so I went one more and sometimes stopped due to various life commitment.
Since 2007 I am living in the present QTH; Vinkovci - East Croatia.
Privatly, I have two adult children and (for now) only one grandother !

I'm mostly active every day on 40m band, after 22:00 .
In the summer time, I am less present on the band becaus thenature of my job ( professional pilot - instructor) .

Equipment

I have a nice hamshack and have different radiamateur RIGs, such as ICOM-756PRO3, FT - 920, IC-706MK2G, IC-7000, IC-7100, IC-7300, IC-7610, KX3 from Elecraft, and newes one; FTDX-10.
From linear amplifiers there are very nice KENWOOD TL-933 with built in automatic antenna tuner, also as some more home made MOSFET amplifiers 500 W.
I enjoy in vintage RIGs such as Sommerkamp FL-50 / FR-50, Heathkit 102A, Yaesu FT-200, LINEAR Heathkit SB - 200, Yaesu FL-2100... etc .
Also permanently experimenting with antennas .
I'm mostly active on 40m band with horizontal QUAD (loop in 4-squere) for 80m, but on 7MHz is great DX antena with low angle of radiation, phased verticals 40m, phased inverted V 40m, hexbeam.
There is also one vertical elevated 3/8 lambda, two element beam for 7MHz, rotary beam, two element quad for 5 bands, atc....
