Biography

Having fun with radio from 1979 when earn first licence. From then change many call sings and HAM classes. Start to work on 2m with ICOM 202 under the call sign YT2SOM and class "D". Later with 9A3HZ ( with class, F, C, D, B) and now with 9A1Z ( class A) . Was very active on 6m from 90-ties to 2000 . Achieved DXCC 6m #371 . From the year 2006 started to be very active on 3cm and 23 cm from portable location JN86dl and on 4m from JN86fj. In that period made transverters together with ham Pepi ( 9A4RJ,SK) From the many contest successes need to highlight 1st place in the Croatian UKV SUPER KUP 2010.
Also interested in electronics and radio constructions. Made many types of antennas and filters. Have simple radio lab consist of Spectrum analyzer up to 3.2 G, few radio signal sources and accessories, VNA up to 1,3 G , GPS controlled 10 MHz calibration source, digital oscilloscope up to 100 MHz and counters.
Interested in radio propagation's and propagation monitoring. From that reason occasionally making PI4 beacons for 6, 4, and 2m.
Also interested in satellite work. Have lot off QSOs over many analog ham satellites and monitoring telemetry data from HAM sats when have time.
