5K3IC. En un Perfecto Español.

El idioma español se extiende hoy por todo el planeta; es la segunda lengua más importante del mundo y la tercera más hablada, con 400 millones de hablantes nativos.
El castellano, tal como hoy lo conocemos es fruto de un proceso de decantación de más de un milenio, a lo largo del cual las diversas lenguas de los habitantes de la Península Ibérica se fueron modificando por influencia de los invasores romanos, godos y árabes. Hacia el final del siglo XV, con la unión de los reinos de Castilla y Aragón, que extendieron su dominio sobre la mayor parte de la península, la lengua de Castilla -el castellano- se fue imponiendo sobre otros idiomas y dialectos y cruzó el Atlántico a lomos de los descubridores, conquistadores y misioneros.

Los días13 y 14 de abril de 2013 desde las 0:00z,se activa (5K3IC) haciendo homenaja a nuestro idioma castellano.

El llamado (CQ) será en español.

Esperamos tener la mejor de las suertes con las condiciones y escuchar a todos nuestros hermanos hispanoparlantes.

5K3IC, in perfect Spanish.

The Spanish language spans the globe. It is the second most important language in the world and the third most spoken, with approximately 400 million native speakers.
Spanish, as we know it, is the product of more than a millennia of decanting, where several languages from the inhabitants of the Iberian Peninsula began to suffer alterations from the influence of Roman, Goth, and Arab invaders. Towards the end of the fifteenth century the unification of the kingdoms of Castilla and Aragón extended the dominion over most of the peninsula. Their Castilian language slowly overpowered other languages and dialects. Then it crossed the Atlantic Ocean with the Spanish discoverers, conquistadors and missionaries.

5K3IC, the commemorative callsign, will be active on April 13 and 14, 2013 from 0:00z, paying homage to our Castilian Spanish.
Cqing will naturally be in Spanish.
We hope to have luck with conditions and propagation and qso with all our Spanish speaking brothers as well as ham radio operators from around the world.

Qso’s will preferably be held in Spanish.
