Biography

Name:Demetris Themistocleous but on HF you may call me Jim for short .

I got my Licence in October 2015. I have a technical background as i studied electronical enginering in Thessaloniki Greece. I am currently working in an IT Company.

I started radio Amateur in the look of a new hobby.I like experimenting with the hobby and try as many aspects of it as I can.HF DX /sattelite / satellite data downlinks/ Homebrewing especially antennas /packet data/Digital modes/portable ops). So much to play with and so much to learn.

I log my calls with Log4OM . All QSOs are automaticaly uploaded to HRDLog ,Clublog, HamQTH .

Also auto uploads to eQSL.cc and at the end of each day I upload to LotW . QRZ.com is set to sync once a week.

My Current HF setup is

Rig:Yaesu FT-450AT

usualy running on 100W when not portable

Tuner: LDG Z11ProII

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
