Biography

I was born in the city of Kursk on January 30, 1964. I started doing amateur radio at the age of 10. A year later I worked at the collective radio station of the Palace of Pioneers in Kursk UK3WCC, at the same time I received observer permission UA3-135-349. At the age of 15 I received my first amateur radio callsign UA3WCC, when I received the second category I received the callsign RV3WS. Having been on the air for over 25 years, in 2012 I changed to R3WS.
In 2019, my family and I moved from Russia to Israel. In Israel in 2020 i received the call sign 4X5WS. I use transceiver ICOM IC-7000, Kenwood TS-570D Antennas: Windom (10,20,40). I wish you all health, clean air, long-distance connections and pleasant work at the radio station.
