Biography

Mostly on V/UHF FM. I run MB7INP, 2m Echolink gateway which is also used by our local club (Pembrokeshire Radio Society) for regular nets.

Primary interests are experimenting and building things (although I'm not very good at it). I also really like older equipment which I usually buy broken and repair them (I have been told I need to get rid of some of it by the XYL as I am running out of room).

Always happy to make new contacts on any mode or band (inc Echolink) for a nice QSO.

V/UHF (YSF) (Shack) - Yaesu FTM-400DE to a Diamond X50
VHF SSB Portable - Icom IC202S to a 5EL Yagi

HF (Shack) - Kenwood TS590S to homebrew Horizontal Loop (tuned for 40m, works on 40-6m with ATU). A dipole for 80m.

Portable/Mobile HF - Alinco DX-SR8, MFJ Manual ATU to a vertical 10m wire on a fibre glass pole or a mobile wipe tuned for band.
