Biography
Semi retired truck driver.
Main interests are motorcycle road racing of which i am a two times Irish and three times Ulster champion. Also an Ulster classic trials champion. I raced for thirty years starting when i was 19 and retired when i was 50. Enough was enough as iv plenty of war wounds for my efforts... Although i still have a strong interest in racing i have taken a back seat but still enjoy fettling my collection of twelve bikes..
Apart from radio my other interests are First World War mainly the 36th Ulster division of which my Great Uncle William Kane was a member. Sadly he was killed aged 21 and his body was never recovered. The Thiepval Memorial bears his name. I travel to Thiepval every year with his medals to pay my respects to this brave lad....
When im not off traveling on my motorcycle i enjoy drinking whiskey, Guinness and playing pool....
