Who Am I?
I'm the son of G3RKP(sk). I got my first callsign in 2009 as KC2VWR, then M6UBS and currently 2E0LUN, (I'm currently working on my full UK License,then I'll work on my US General & Extra). I'm reading Planetary Science at The Open University in Milton Keynes and yes I'm an advocate of going to Mars but by first colonising the Moon. I am an active amatuer astronomer who prefers Imaging to Visual Observing, a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, the lead host on the CometWatch and Irish Astro Geeks vodcast. Oh yes i also love making model spacecraft...
I prefer real hats to baseball caps too, and can be often be seen wearing either a Fedora or a Panama.....
My interests include Astro Imaging, Helio and Terresterial Weather, Cooking, Hiking (Fellwalking), Self-Suffiency (Kitchen Gardening), Homebrewing my own Beers and Wine and Languages.

Working the Caribbean, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam, The Holy Land, The Nordic countries (Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark), and British Commonwealth Countries. APRS, EME, Inter G and DX, Aurora/Meteor Scatter, The ISS, Satellites, Airfields on the Air, Bunkers on the Air, IOTA, Lighthouses & LightShips on the Air, Museum on the Air, Mills on the Air, Observatories on the Air, Railways on the Air, SOTA (including Hills, Humps & Wainwrights), Volcanoes on the Air, Fire Towers on the Air, POTA, Zoo's on the Air, 6M, VHF & UHF, US Islands, WWFF and building my own Ham Radio related kit.
