Biography
Thank you for visiting my QRZ page..!
I'm Ian and I'm based in the Bedfordshire village of Cranfield - South East England. I have played with radio since I was about fifteen and thanks to Frank M0JSZ and Andrew G8GNI of MKARS, I finally got around to taking the foundation and Intermediate tests (I must get on with my advance license).
I operate mostly HF, typically SSB, however I often use the local repeaters when mobile or walking the dog. The main Shack radio is an FT-950 with the Heil PR-781 microphone and the Pulsar AT2K tuner. Much to my neighbors amusement, I like to experiment with aerials and often swap and change the home station antennas.
