This is accomplished through support of local and national amateur radio events and drills, conducting licensing workshops and training in emergency communications procedures. Some of these include the ARRL Field Day, the Rush Springs Annual Watermelon Festival, the OKC Memorial Marathon and Amateur Radio support during Preparedness Drills and Exercises conducted by local first-responder agencies.
