Biography

An amateur since 1973, initially with an Australian Limited (above 52MHz) licence as VK2ZEX. I moved up to a Combined licence (VK2KIQ) once I had passed my 5 wpm morse test. Nowadays, now classified as an Advanced Licence holder with two callsigns, VK2DCR and VK2EY.
I also hold M1KIQ from the UK and recently obtained my Amateur Extra from the US - callsign N1KIQ.
I have had a lifelong career in Information Technology and Telecommunications.
I'm also a member of WICEN NSW the local amateur emergency services organisation.
