Biography

It would be our pleasure to inform all radio amateurs that from 1 to 30 of April 2022 the Special Call Sign SX30FO will be on air in all HF bands. We are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the founding of the international 5th Ocean Club. The "Fifth Ocean Ham Aviator's Club" has members that are radio amateurs, from all over the world, who have a direct relationship with aviation (pilots, paratroopers, aircraft engineers etc).

In Greece there are six members to this international club:

SV1AHH (Polydoros Stavropoulos),

SV1GGF (George Petrakis)

SV3GLL (Zacharias Velissaris)

SV1QA (Nikolaos Koufoydakis)

SV1ME (Manos Sklivanos)

SV1JFL (Stavros Panagiotopoulos)

The contacts for the diploma are calculated from 01 April 2022 until 30 April 2022.
The required number of points that must be accumulated to meet the conditions for obtaining the diploma is 30. The diploma has not any cost, it is free via hamlog.online

- For QSO / SWL with radio amateurs, members of the international club "Fifth Ocean", working with special insignia RY30FO, RO30FO, RU30FO, RK30FO, RD30FO, RG30FO, RA30FO, RJ30FO, RL30FO, EV30FO, SX30FO the points are 3.
- For QSO / SWL with amateur radio, members of the club "Fifth Ocean" - 1 point.
- For contact and SWL in VHF and a 160 meter band with radio amateurs, members of the club "Fifth Ocean", 1 extra point is added.
- For 1 QSO / SWL via satellite with radio amateurs, members of the Fifth Ocean club, a diploma is issued.

Duplicate QSOs are only allowed in different bands and modes.

All types of digital communications (RTTY, PSK, MFSK, SSTV, JT65, FT8, etc.) are counted as one type of DIGI.
