| Biography In august 1901 geologist André Dumont and his team discovered the first layers of charcoal in As (Province: Limburg in Belgium) on a depth of 541 meters. This discovery was a great find because for the next 80 years the production of coal was for this region of Limburg an important source of labour and earnings. It brought welfare and prosperity.

From 8'o clock local time the radioamateurs will be QRV on 40m and later on 20m till around 18:00 hours local time.
