Biography

Hello , my name is Robert , i am known as Rab and am 41 years old. My QTH is Greenock, Inverclyde , Scotland which makes my locator IO75ow and my Grid WAB Square is NS27.
I am interested in digital modes (JS8 and VARAc mostly) but also enjoy phone when propagation is good. Due to being limited on space for antennas i am exploring the world of being a mobile station and also using hotspots and DMR.

I passed my foundation test during the covid pandemic March 2021 and am about to sit the Intermediate exam shortly. My interests are radio/monitoring, reverse engineering , software and tinkering with embedded devices..I like going to the gym and training and spending time with my friends and family.

I hope to contact many like minded people around the world and remember:

"We are not strangers , We are friends who havent met yet"

GL and hope to see you on the waterfall ..73
