Thank you for participating in our 2023 Mule Day Special Event.

Winfield's Mule Day began on September 11,1975 by Curt Estes, the Winfield Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Max Brasher, Sr. , to honor the hard working mules of the day. Our Mule Day occurs on the fourth weekend of September each year.

Vendors and spectators come from throughout the Southeast. Our Mule Day celebration includes mule judging, flea market areas in several sections of the city, an arts and crafts area, music and dance, a 5K run on Friday night, food, a parade, a car show and many other activities both on Friday evening and night and then again on Saturday. If you are coming to Mule Day, don’t forget the Friday night madness sale by our local merchants.
