Salve a tutti, sono nato nel 1960. Da ragazzo (10 anni) ho incominciato a trasmettere con una coppia di Walkie Talkie da 50mw e dopo il primo QSO extra portatili con un CB della mia città ho rotto le scatole ai miei genitori fino ad avere una stazioncina sulla 27 con un HB23A Lafayette(ricordate?); i baracchini si sono susseguiti nel tempo fino al diploma di perito ed oltre e qualche DX si è potuto effettuare anche coi 5 watt allora concessi(beata propagazione). Non ho affrontato l'esame di radioamatore perchè fortemente scoraggiato dal CW , che allora mi sembrava molto difficile(ora so che é difficile); é seguita una lunga sosta causa 5 traslochi, famiglia, 3 figli, vicini poco tolleranti ecc. Nell'Agosto del 2018 casualmente ordinando la cantina é saltato fuori un ICOM IC-726 ed allora ho deciso di affrontare il CW incominciando a studiare a novembre ed effettuando il primo QSO a gennaio dopo aver ricevuto in prestito un Kenwood TS-940S. Con tutte le carenze che ancora ho, ho trovato molto FairPlay fra i radioamatori CW e non potrò mai ringraziarli per la pazienza con cui si adattano alla mia velocità attuale. Hi everyone, I was born in 1960. As a boy (10 years) I started broadcasting with a pair of 50mw Walkie Talkies and after the first extra portable QSO with a CB in my city I broke my parents' boxes until I had a little station on 27 with a HB23A Lafayette (remember?); the CB radio have followed in time up to the diploma and beyond and some DX has been able to carry out even with the 5 watts (blessed propagation). I did not take the amateur radio exam because I was strongly discouraged by the CW, which at the time seemed very difficult to me (now I know it's difficult); a long stay followed due to 5 home moving, family, 3 children, poor tolerant neighbors, etc. In August of 2018, by randomly ordering the cellar, an ICOM IC-726 jumped out and then I decided to face up to CW starting to study in November and making the first QSO in January after receiving a Kenwood TS-940S on loan. With all the shortcomings I still have, I found a lot of FairPlay among CW amateurs and I will never be able to thank them for the patience with which they adapt to my current speed.
