Biography

Hi dear ham friend

Thanks for stopping by my page.
My name is Ulf and I became a licensed amateur as late as March 2013 at the age of 62.
I started with CB radio when I was about 20 years old, but work and family formation took over.
It took me more than 40 years to realize that this was one of the most enjoyable hobbies you can have. Am I slow or what? :-)
Thanks to all my old friends nagging on me all these years to do this!

I don’t have an antenna farm located in a tower half way up to the moon,
I don’t have 5 different HF rigs either, and I don’t run a 1000W amplifier, but I have an small portable antenna in my small garden (Superantenna MP1) and I have an old Kenwood TS-570S 100W rig and it works, can you believe it ?

However, My QTH is Gavle, in Sweden. Locator JP80nq.

It would be fun if you would send me a QSL card after a nice QSO with each other,
and I promise that I will send you one back,Via the bureau, E-QSL, HRDLOG.NET, LOTW.
Direct is fine too, dont bother to send $$$ , you pay your way and I pay my way, seems fair to me !

73 de Ulf

Not so much more than that :-) Maybe I can fill it up after a while !!
