Biography

I am 56yo and only been licences since 2016 as a "F" call beginner class VK7FPRN then 2017 progressed to Standard class VK7PRN and later in 2017 to Advanced class VK7RN I think it took 17 months from "F" call to Advanced...any way am enjoying the hobby meeting new people everyday its great...
I live on the North- North West end of Tasmania in a place called Promised Land which is at my location 554m above sea level with a great take off to the SE:E:NE:N:NW:not so much to the West:South-West:South & South-East due to Mt.Roland to my South:SouthEast & a hill to my West: South West with lots of trees

Equipment

Radio's and other equipment as follows;
Yaesu FT102 with YD148 dynamic desk microphone
Kenwood TS530s with Kenwood MC-50 microphone
Kenwood TS830s with Kenwood MC-50 microphone
Kenwood TS850s with Kenwood DSP100 digital signal processor & Kenwood MC-60 desk microphone
All these radios share a SP-950 extension speaker
Yaesu FL7000 linear amplifier which used to run with my Yaesu FT1000D until its unfortunate death in early 2017
Antenna also shared is a windom off centre fed dipole cut for 80m and resonate on 80m:40m:30m:20m:15m:10m:6m:
Tower 3 stage 20m wind up tilt over guided with a 3 element Yagi on a 400 rotator to spin it around yet to be put up waiting for friend with a dingo digger to come dig out the foundation for it soon very soon
