Biography

I am a Teacher, Senior High School Computing. I also am an avid photographer, love fishing (beach and estuary) as well as gold detecting and lazing on a beach in the late afternoon sun when it's a nice day.

Equipment

In my Hilux 4x4 I have a Yaesu 857D hooked up to a Codan 9350 with auto tuner and 1 VHF/UHF antenna and 1 VHF/UHF/50/10 antenna on the other side of the bull bar as well as a WICEN VHF antenna in the centre of the bull bar

Home use I have a Yaesu 920, and Yaesu 991 as well as an Icom 7100 for portable use in the field. Antenna wise I have a 3 element yagi for 10/15/20 and a 4 element yagi for VHF and a vertical on top of all that for VHF/UHF local repeater work. I also have an inverted V 40/80 trapped dipole up in the yard and it gets out excellently.
