Biography

I have been active since 1962 with the callsign VE2BOW (1962-66). VE2MW (1966-1976) and VE6WQ 1976-. I have also operated VE2MW/W2 (1968-72), VE2MW/W6 (1972-76), VE6WQ/4X (1996) and M0EDH 2006-2007.

I am mostly interested in DX and contests. I hold 9 Band DXCC and #1 Honor Roll. More recently I have become interested in IOTA and I have about 830 islands confirmed.

I operate most of the major DX contests from the VE6JY superstation and hold numerous Canadian records. I have also operated contests from VE2UN, W2CXM, W6YX, W3GM, GB6AR, MW/VE6WQ, OT5A, OT6A, PI4CC, G6PZ.
