Biography

Dear YL/OM/SWL,

thanks for looking me up. I use the /P suffix only for portable operation on VHF (2m band), UHF (70cm band), and X-band (3cm band).

vy 73 de Chris, OE1VMC

Equipment

For the 2m band, I use a Yaesu FT-857D, antenna is a horizontal half wave dipole, 8m above ground level.

For the 70cm band, I use a modified Alinco DJ-S45CQL handheld, max. 2W output (33dBm) or Yaesu FT-857D with the same 2m dipole.

For the 3cm band, I use a transverter (MKU 10 G3 432 Professional) with a QRP transceiver (Yaesu FT-817ND), max. 0.25W output (24dBm), with 16dBi horn antenna or 34dBi parabolic dish (57cm diameter)

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
