Biography

Hello... My first call sign was CO2CB in 1966, later from 1991 up to the present
I am EA8NY from Tenerife, Canary Islands,Spain and from 2010 NY1F,i have worked
in RTTY more than 125 countries confirmed ( from 1970 to 1979 ) with mechanical
machine ( Teletype Model 28 )and separated receiver and transmitter ( 500 Watts )
in this time also worked 6 meter band with more than 110 countries, and 160 meters
with the same result,i love to work satellites,but is a pity that actually doesn't
exist elliptical orbit sats like Oscar-10 and Oscar-13 working pass though was
possible for me to work station in all continents,today is impossible to do it
my activity is above all in SSB, but at present I only work dx-peditions and
countries very far from my QTH, long time ago I worked all the important contest,but now I don't have condition for that.
I have here in my QTH in Miami some rigs, 3 Collins line complete, a TS-959sdx,
a FT-1000 MK5, a IC-746 and a Drake L-7 and a Kenwood TL-922, my problem is my
antenna because for the first time I don't have beams for the diferents bands,
on account off I am rented in my qth and is not permitted for the owner to put
big structures ( I use a GAP Titan vertical ) I have worked many digital modes in Spain but not here.
I am a telecommunication engineer,i speak Spanish, English and French, and I have lived in many countries, like Canada, France and others.
