Biography

I am security supervisor/hazmat coordinator at an area hospital following a 25 plus year run in the fire/ems field.
I have always been around radios beginning with involvment in channel 9 on the CB radio moving towards, what I thought at the time, was good DX.
After April 27th, 2011, when an F5 tornado carved a path from the Alabama/Mississippi line all the way into Georgia, I knew I wanted to do more than just watch.
I am now involved in ARES and weather emergencies. The everyday meeting with the guys on 40 meters to checking in on local nets.
