Biography

This is my original call sign from June of '86. My first couple of years were spent on 2m using a home built (kit) rig from National Radio Institute and a Heathkit hand held rig. I graduated to an Alinco DT-150 t/e 2m mobile and am presently trying to repair it.

Looking forward to getting back into the Ham community.

Equipment

My original, and only, HF rig is a 2nd hand Yaesu FT-101E. This rig has not been on the air for about 30 years so my "first" power-up should be interesting. It will be run through a CLC transmatch into a 10m Cushcraft vertical or swithcable into a 10-80m OCF at about 30' above grade.

11/01/2023 - Just finished a pleasant conversation with MM0FTU in the UK so it looks like the work I've done on this rig has paid off.
