Biography

UK Foundation Licence May 2017, previously a SWL ("MA3098SWL", but on QRZCQ as "MA3098SWL-") - many thanks to Phil (F5FCH) for persuading me to get my licence.

I'm mainly on 17m / 20m using JT9 / JT65 /FT8 modes on a Yaesu FT-991A with attic mounted dipoles (also dipoles for 15m & 6m). I also have a MFJ-933 loop tuner and at present have a loop for 30m & 40m.

As a UK Foundation Licence holder, I'm limited to 10W.

(For SWL purposes, I use an Elad FDM-DUOr receiver and a Wellbrook ALA1530 LNP magnetic loop antenna.)

I prefer to routinely QSL via eQSL, and do not routinely send out direct QSLs, but if requested, direct QSLs are also possible. A "paper" sent directly to me will be replied to with a "paper" QSL (a self-addressed envelope would be appreciated to prevent address errors). - Sorry, I do not use "Bureau", LOTW or any on-line logging other than eQSL and QRZ.com.
