Biography

Ham radio for 45 years, on and off the air due to work and family commitments.
Passed my exams in the Netherlands and hold the PE1CHD call sign.
Currently living and working in the UK with call sign M0XPA.
I am an RF and Microwave principle engineer and currently Engineering Project Manager for the SKA Radio telescope.
My interests include DIY radios, transmitters and Antennas. My passion is weak signal detection and designing solid-state high power RF Amplifiers, I hope to get an EME station for the 23 and 13cm (and maybe 3cm) up an running, almost there but still work and family have priority. Transistors available for 300W RF SSPA for 23 and 13cm
You can send email to pe1chd@amsat.org
