Biography

Full Licence in October 2016: m0ich

Learning CW and currently (2018) can copy about 18wpm. CW is one of the main reasons for my interest in radio. Made the leap onto HF CW in Feb 2018 so if you are reading this while sending CW to me - please forgive any errors and many thanks for the qso.

Also enjoying a lot of 2m portable USB (photo) either voice or with CW paddle on my knee.

Equipment

Home: HF antenna CP6 (six band vertical) and VHF/UHF colinear in the loft running a FT991

Portable: two SOTAbeams (linked-dipole) for HF when on holiday and collapsible 2m/70cm yagi running a FT857 for day trips to high ground.
