| Biography Since 7 years of age, I was all about the gadgets. Maybe it was the cartoons of Warner Brothers (The Bugs Bunny, Roadrunner show) or the Littles or the smurfs, or all of them. Whatever the case may be, I was always interested in gadgets.
What really caught my attention was my Uncle Raymond's C.B. radio when I went to visit him. Stacked neatly in his cubbards around the kitchen, he used to talk to truckers passing by on channels 6, 7, and 17. He had a handle, too. He let me talk on it to say hello.
Some 11 years later, I learned about ham radio from my neighbor down the street. k4HJX, who is silent key. That led to me getting my morse code license on the very last day I was qualified to.....then they made the no code changes.
In Fort Myers, I got my technician and general licenses.
Now I'm studying for my extra.
I'm a member of 2 amateur radio clubs at the same time.
I'm testing and creating stuff.
I'm into qsl cards, so expect one from me once I get a boatload of them.
