Biography

Born in Tennessee in 1960. I've lived in Huntsville, Alabama, Illinois (Chanute AFB), Los Angeles, CA, the South Pacific (Kwajalein), Wichita, KS, (McConnell AFB) retired back in South Tennessee (My Father got cancer, and wanted me to come spend some time with him). I moved back to Huntsville, AL in May of 2014. I worked for the Federal Government most of my life, specifically the Department of Defense (DOD). The Army at Redstone Arsenal in Hunstville, Ala for almost 10 years, in the South Pacific (Kwajalein, Marshall Islands) for 2 years as an Elec Tech, and then finally for the Air Force at McConnell AFB, in Wichita, Kansas for 10 years, as the Outdoor Recreation Director.

I had an injury at work in May of 1999, and just before Christmas 1999 had to have Spinal Fusion Surgery which I'm currently affected by. (Disabled Retired). I also had a 'scary' time with Cancer in my Neck Lymph Nodes, and had to have 22 of them removed, and a 6 weeks Session of Radiation Therapy. So far, I'm 'clean'.

I've been running a Recording Studio for about 20 years now, to keep me busy. (https://www.facebook.com/SMCStudios)

I enjoy SSTV, and Phone modes. Currently operate an ICOM 756 Pro (which I LOVE), Yaesu FT-102 (Awesome Receiver!), Drake TR7 (STILL an Amazing Rig), and a BEAUTIFUL MINT Pair of Dake Twins (B-Line) on HF, I also have several mobiles, Icoms (Three 2100H's, etc.) I'm involved in ARES (Official Emergency Station), former Tennesse Army MARS Asst. State Director (AAR4EL) , (former Training Officer in Kansas MARS - AAR7EL) formally RACES (Wichita, KS), as well as ATV Activities. I'm also involved in the SATERN (Salvation Army Team Emergency Radio Network) organization.

I'm also VERY proud to have 6 children (Jackson Daniel, named after the Tennessee Sour Mash, Ronnie James, after Ronnie James Dio!, Scot II,Natalia Anastasia, B. Ryan, Kathleen Michelle), and 8 Grand Children!

Besides MUSIC, (My Religion!) I own, and operate a Recording Studio (SMC Recording Studios) my interests are Motorcycles, Movies, Target Practice (pistols and rifles), TV, Ham Radios, Reading, Personal Freedoms and talking about any of the above!

For those fellow Ten Ten International folks, my 10-10 number is # 77431

FreeWheelers #15115

USTAW #290

OMISS # 13593
