Biography

I became a "Hamster" in 2011, got my ticket as KK4FOA and my General in 2013 along with new call sign, K4MMZ. Finally in 2015 I received my Extra and last call sign, K4NJ. I am always surprised at the multitude of areas in amateur radio. I enjoy receiving QSO cards and will respond 100%.

I live in the small town of Hobe Sound (population approx. 11,500) which is about 40 miles north of Palm Beach.

My HF rig is usually tuned to the 20 m band going to a mobile antenna, (Tarheel Screwdriver 6' whip) as I live in a HOA and that is all that is allowed.

Some of my other intrests are fishing, doing at least one "Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise" per year, traveling, mediating as a volunteer, flying on a flight simulator and doing Parks On The Air.

For those that need Florida, I am happy to set up a sked. Just email me and I will give it a try.

One never knows, we may someday meet in person.
