Equipment

On HF I have but one trusty radio: the Yaesu FT-890 with built in autotuner. It is connected to a rather lowly 40m dipole in an inverted V fashion.
I do have a Yaesu FT-2500M for 2m operation, and a handheld FT-530 dual band, kind of dated. I own three Baofengs which are nice because I don't care if they drop or get banged up, but after a year or two they all develop issues.

I used the trusty Realistic (Radioshack) HTX - 202 during the 2013 Boston Marathon and had a stronger signal out than most brand new radios.
