Biography

Hi, I'm an OM since a lot of time but with a "B" Class Italian License, my activity has been limited till the year 2005 only in 144 MHz or 430 MHz. Now the law is changed and I'm allowed to operate all the HAM bands. Due to job, my activity is very poor but I hope to be "ON AIR" for more time soon.

The Cantù ARI Club was closed, so I decided to not subscribe any association for the moment.

At the moment I can't send or receive phisical QSL. So, If you want, you can send me a E-QSL or e-mail me your qsl at iw2cxe@tiscali.it and I'll send back mine to you in the same way.

Equipment

In HF my apparate is an old KENWOOD TS 430S buyed in 1988!! and used to listen till now.

Now I manage my new apparate: Icom IC-7000 so, being it more little than TS 430s and newer, I can keep it connected at the antennas everytime and now I'm very happy to be on air for more time than before.

In VHF a KENWOOD TS 9130S All Mode In UHF a KENWOOD TW 4000A Double Band (for the FM)

Now in VHF and UHF I can operate in all mode with my IC 7000 too.

In Portable I've a Yaesu FT-2700RH Double Band (FM) (and nowI can manage the IC 7000).

In my QTH, I had an HF Windom Antenna and a VHF/UHF double band vertical. Cause a very strong windy day, windom antenna went down so now I'm waiting sunny days to install my all new M0PLK.

Unfortunatly I've no Aerials for the 50 MHz, so I'm not operative in that Band than with HF antenna and the antenna tuner.
