Biography
Thank you for visiting my page and greetings from Italy!
I started to enjoy the hobby of BCL-SWL listening at the time of the high school (...a long time ago!) after reading a fascinating book titled "The secrets of radio". Not much money at that time, so I was using a musicassette radio recorder equipped with a SW receiver section with really poor sensitivity and selectivity, which anyway introduced me into this fantastic hobby.
I went on for some years then I stopped for a long time, with only sporadic listening sessions. Some years ago the passion for the BCL-SWL came up again and I was able to set up a new station with more serious receivers (presently I'm only interested in RXing...), which are giving me a lot of fun and satisfaction.
In July 2016 I had my official SWL callsign "I 0560/FR" from the Italian Ministry of Industry (Cert.#ITLA/ZNC/114212).
Since August 2016 my SWARL code is "IZ0117SWL" (Cert.#S7475).
73s, have a great fun on the bands, and please remember:
