Biography

My name is Carlos, I'm a sound recording and audio post-production technician with a background in electronics. Looking forward to DX with you soon.

Since you are here...
The Portuguese ham radio community is at risk. Since 2009, within EU we have some of the strictest rules regarding amateur radio licensing. An entry level ham operator is prohibited from transmitting from his own station by himself and can only do so after 2 years of listening. This is extremely discouraging, kills the very spirit of the amateur radio community, and has lowered the number of newcomers to the amateur radio field significantly. If you are a Portuguese citizen, please help the Portuguese amateur radio newcomers by signing the following petition so we can have the law revised and changed, for the sake of the amateur radio community.

I am currently operating under class 1 operator supervision with a novice license according to local regulations.

Thank you!
