| Biography GM, GA or GE, here's a bit about me...
I started with an interest in SDR, then in 2020 I decided to study for an amateur radio licence to mark my 60th birthday and took the Foundation and Intermediate exams in rapid succession.
I'm mainly active in CW, mostly QRP, often portable and usually on the 20m and 30m bands but also on 17m and 40m from time to time.
My favourite equipment (see pictures on QRZ.COM page):
o SW-3B, FT-818 or Xiegu X6100
o Resonant 4.4m loaded EFHW as self supporting vertical
I also use:
o FTDX10, XIEGU G90, Lab599 Discovery TX-500 or (tr)uSDX
o Loft mouted fan-dipole, full size EFHW as vertical or Inverted-L
o Lots of experimental antennas...
I've also played with JS8Call, FT8 and satellites, which I'm looking to expand back into this winter.
I regularly upload logs to eQSL, LotW and will QSL via QRZ.COM if requested.
