Biography

Hello, I guess this is where I introduce myself...

I'd been interested in SDR for about a year, then decided to go for a radio licence to mark my 60th birthday and took the Foundation and Intermediate exams in rapid succession.

I'm currently using a Xiegu G90, a Xiegu X5105 and a DR-4020 with loft based 40m and 20m resonant v-dipoles at power levels from QRP up to about 20W.

We're in Tier-4 (Covid-19 lockdown) at the moment but I'm hoping to go portable in the high places and along the shore line when rules and regulations permit.

I'm just starting out, mainly interested in CW and digital modes on the 20m and 40m bands, so looking forward to making lots of new contacts there but still listening on SDR.

I upload my logs to eQSL regularly (at least daily) but I'm currently unable to confirm QSL's via LoTW, Bureau or Directly.
