Biography

Thank you for visiting my page, my name is Will.

My current radio room has a Icom IC7300 and I use a Butternut HF9V ground mounted vertical and a 10m Alpha Antenna J-pole Jr. as a sloper. I have a IC-R8600 that I use for Shortwave lisenting and scanning. I use a ALA1530 loop antenna for HF and a Discone for VHF reception. I am a member of the British DX Club (BDXC) and the Coventry Amateur Radio Society (CARS). I live in Stratford upon Avon, which is in Warwickshire in the UK. Stratford Upon Avon is known for being the birthplace of William Shakespeare.

I firmly believe amateur radio is one of the good and decent things in an increasingly angry and frustrated world. With it we can set an example of international friendship, where we can help and support each other.

A special thank you goes to everyone who has helped me setup my station and shared their lessons and wisdom; especially N3IL and M0HOU.

I hope you enjoy my page and I look forward to having a QSO with you soon!
