Biography

First licensed as WN7RCT in 1971 as a Novice. Became WA7RCT a year later as a General. Passed Advanced and Extra exams the same day in 1982 in front of an FCC examiner and kept my callsign. Enjoy mostly CW and digital modes. Also, occasionally operate SSB, especially on 10 meters. Station equipment includes a Kenwood TS-950SDX, Kenwood TS-590SG and my trusty old Kenwood TS-830S. Amplifier (which gets very little use) is an Ameritron ALS-600. Antenna is a Hustler 6BTV vertical. Very lucky to have that, as I live in an HOA where antennas are forbidden. But due to very generous neighbors, they signed a petition to the developer allowing me to have it. Hope to see you on the air some day. My son is KB7WIG.
