Biography

I use Pete when working on the air. For the HF bands I use an IC-718 for 80M to 10M at 40 Watts or less input. I have a 31 foot end fed antenna, (vertical aluminum mast of 31 feet. With a home made Balun (Unun) for 80M to 10M.

I use straight keys for 99 percent of all my CW operations.

I have been licensed as a ham for 62 years. Had 5 years Military radio. Also some Navy Mars. Became an Extra class in 1971. My calls were, WA2JMG, K2PC, KZ5P, K2ARM and now back to my original call of WA2JMG.

CW Only No digital so called QSO's Former holder of a Radiotelegraph License. I learned Morse Code in the Army Security Agency in Korea during the 50's. Oh the joy!
