Biography

Thank you if we had a QSO!

All contacts are logged on QRZ.com and uploaded to LOTW and QRZCQ.
I really enjoy the many way this Ham Radio hobbie keeps your mind active.

I am a member of the Motor City Radio Club, the RV Radio net and particapate in ARPCS.

First licensed in 1973 WD8KKU (technician), but got busy with life.
Re-licensed as a General W8MCW 2018 after passing the exam in hosted by Cherry Land ARC, Traverse City, MI.
Upgraded to Extra Class July 2019 at exam hosted by Motor City Radio Club.

I have worked in electronics since age 16 and retired as Security and Fire Alarm Contractor.
Also am a retired Fire Fighter, EMT and SAR Scuba Diver (instructor).

Past intrests included boating & sailing and included diving on many shipwrecks in the Great Lakes.
Current intrests include traveling in my 5th wheel RV and SCUBA diving in warm water.

Thanks for the QSO's and for taking the time read this!
