Biography

My radio interests have always centered around my love of CW and it has been my only mode of communications on the HF bands since the day I was first licensed. I chase DX mostly on the WARC bands (currently at 221 DXCC), act as Net Control 3 nights each week for the Tenth District Cycle 4 NTS traffic net on the 80-meter band, and enjoy a good CW rag-chew.

I am a member of the ARRL A-1 Operator Club and volunteer as the webmaster for the ARRL Midwest Division website and for the ARRL Zero Bureau W0QSL website. I am a member of the QCWA, FISTS #10264, SKCC #1078, NAQCC #1455, and CWops #446.

I am a member of the OMIK Amateur Radio Association, Inc. and currently act as the club's Secretary (www.omikradio.org).

Equipment

My Station is a Ten Tec Jupiter and an assortment of wire antennas including a 160m Inverted L, 80m Doublet, 40m Vertical Dipole (Force 12 Sigma 40), WARC Band Fan Dipole, and 12m Vertical Dipole. I run a barefoot station only.
