Biography
Hello and welcome to my qrz page
My name is Auk Dekker born in 1966
And I started my radio hobby in 1978, my brother gave me a CB radio, a Pony Cb78
23 channels Am radio ...
I used a quarter wave Gp antenna mounted on the shed and made my first dx connection to the U.S.A with 5 watts.
Ennnn Then it was wrong I was infected with the radio virus, played with CB radios for years and started testing many antennas in the 80`s.
I became a radio amateur since 1998, and since then I have had a lot of radios and so on, you can still hear the hobby ...
And that will never change again!
I also use a lot of digital modes like Dmr, Dstar, Fusion and of course Psk, Ft8, Ft4, Sstv, Rtty and more ..
My Radios that I often use for this are: Yaesu FTdx101D,Icom 9700, Anytone 578, etc ...
And I like to mess with qo-100 I use a dx-patrol ground station for narrow connections with a 120 CM Dish and for the D-atv I use an Elad Sdr receiver. and of course I also like to play with the leo sattelites for that I use the icom 9700 and 2 X-Quad antennas for vhf and uhf frequencys
Yes, that is a small selection of the radios, but these are the most used hi
Many Thanks for visiting my Page And Good DX !!!
The best 73`s Auk!
